The Apogee Cloudburst weighing precipitation gauge is an SDI-12 all-weather weighing gauge with no moving parts. It collects and measures total precipitation from rain, snow, sleet, and hail and corrects for temperature, evaporation, and vibration. Available as a World Meteorology Organisation (WMO) standard version, the Cloudburst is an ideal solution for developing high quality weather monitoring networks.

How the Cloudburst Rain gauge works
As a weighing precipitation gauge, the Cloudburst contains a sensitive weighing platform that will measure all forms of precipitation without the need for a heater element at the inlet.
