The Sentek IoT DTU is a compact, solar-powered telemetry solution for remotely collecting data from compatible Sentek Drill & Drop™ soil monitoring probes. It combines cellular communication, rechargeable battery power and an integrated solar panel in a weather-resistant field enclosure.
Designed for long-term outdoor deployment, the IoT DTU transfers soil monitoring data from remote locations without requiring mains power. The unit supports compatible Drill & Drop™ probes and uses cellular connectivity to provide reliable remote access to field measurements.
The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and solar panel provide an autonomous power solution, while the IP68-rated housing helps protect the electronics from moisture and demanding outdoor conditions. Bluetooth connectivity allows convenient local configuration using a smartphone or tablet.
The IoT DTU is well suited to remote soil moisture monitoring, irrigation management, agricultural research, horticulture and environmental monitoring where continuous access to field data is required.
