- R650-ED: RESISTOGRAPH Series 6, High Density (tropical) hardwoods
Especially suited for examination of extremely dense (tropical) hardwoods - R650-SC: RESISTOGRAPH Series 6. Scientific 2D/3D research version (24 Sensors)
For scientific analysis: maximum possible resolution and precision. Also used for climate change research.  It can be calibrated and used to determine wood density (R2 = 0.96).

Resistograph Software
Users can download a free of charge mobile app called RESISTOGRAPH® from the Google Play Store. This mobile app provides simultaneous real-time profile display, storage and transmission of data, and (optionally) remote control of the machine. The app also records the GPS location.
DECOMâ„¢
The DECOMâ„¢ software allows you to display trees’ profiles can be displayed on the screen or printed as a graphic chart, and can be processed for your reports. Mathematical and statistical routines are available for scientific applications, such as trend adjustments, tree ring detection, etc.

Tracing the rings tree ring detection (scientific version)
- Tree ring limits are automatically or manually marked by DECOMâ„¢.
- You can calculate the width of the tree rings as well as intra-annual density variables and store them in a format compatible with TSAP-Win™.
Mathematical functions for advanced users (scientific version)
- Using mathematical routines (e.g. trend adjustment, indexing etc.), the profiles can be analysed even more precisely.
- Statistical data can be stored in tables and used by other programs.
