Soil Science Australia Soil Judging Competition Open House

ICT International are please to be supporting the Soil Science Australia Soil Judging Competition in November 2025. On the day before the main events, ICT International will open their doors to show the range of solutions available and support available for the soil science community (and beyond).

The open house will run from 10am until 4pm on the 25th November 2025. We will have limited parking available in the office carpark, but there is on street parking nearby.

There will be a range of soil measurement instruments and systems on display, from soil moisture sensors to soil water potential sensors, along with root scanners, penetrometers, and instruments for measuring thermal properties. There will be opportunities to try some of the sensors and talk about their applications and how they could fit your needs.

In addition, the sensors available to measure the other aspects of the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum will be on display.

    • Soil Water Potential Sensors

    • Connection of these soil parameters to plant and tree responses to environmental conditions

    • Show the integration of all parameters into SPAC, and the measurements that are available using the sap flow meter (plant water use), psychrometer (plant water potential).

    • Dataloggers (and live data)

    • Rolling presentations (every hour) through the day.
