The ICT International Sales Process

Sales

Firstly, the sales team will assign the enquiry to a specialist that deals with your solution or product requirements. The specialist will contact you to discuss the exact requirements and any details that need expanding; this may involve a follow up email, meeting, or call to discuss the exact details ranging from application to delivery address. This includes:

  • Application and device suitability
  • Any other sensors required over and above the initial enquiry
  • IoT specific questions:
    • Communications
    • Dashboards
  • Lead time and delivery expectations
  • Any training or support required

Purchasing

A quotation will be raised for you to consider; this will include a freight estimate using FedEx. The quotes are valid for 30 days from issue.

Production, testing, and Quality Assurance

Once you accept the quote and pay for it (payment details are included on the quote) the order will be allocated a Production slot, and any parts that are not in stock will be ordered. Certain products are ordered monthly; others are ordered as needed. The Sales team will advise you of this when the quote is raised.

When production build an IoT system or device, the integration team will configure the system so that it is ready to go when it arrives with you, with data going to your desired endpoint.

As a final quality assurance. Production will finalise the order for any IoT system, Sap Flow Meter, or Psychrometer by placing the units on test for at least 24 hours (this varies on a system-by-system basis).

Dispatch

After the system testing is successfully completed, the system will be packed and you will be contacted to confirm the delivery address (and any specific instructions), and then you will receive the:

  • Domestic (within Australia): TNT tracking details
