The THERM-MICRO’s small size means that it has almost no thermal mass, resulting in minimal influence on the temperature environment and measurements which are very responsive to leaf temperature changes. The absolute temperature of the leaf at the surface is measured.
The adherence and small size enable accurate measurement. The adherence means that the boundary layer is not disrupted.
