Power Auger Information

A one-man lightweight motor for use with the auger, the TIA350S is an easy to start one-man lightweight petrol powered motor unit. With excellent throttle response that allows for controlled use, the unit is controlled with two handles that also protect the motor when transporting or in storage.

With a custom made sleeve to attach the auger motor to the soil auger set, the sleeve is normally purchased with the auger set as a package but can be purchased separately.

About the Auger sets

The auger set is suitable for augering holes to 1.5 metres deep, and augered to 2 metres depth with an additional extension piece.

For sandy soils we recommend the 50mm auger set. For clay soils (expansive) we recommend the 48mm auger set to ensure a tight fit for the aluminium tubes.
