HEXAGON-IMAGING-PAM Chlorophyll Fluorometer
The Walz HEXAGON-IMAGING-PAM is the largest imaging system available from Walz. Capable of measuring a wide range of samples, from potted plants to seedlings, or harvested samples.
The system consists of a measuring chamber at the top of which is the LED panel IMAG-HEX/L (blue, 451 nm and FR, 730 nm as the dominant wavelength) responsible for measuring light, actinic light and saturating light flashes. Areas up to 20 x 24 cm can be measured at a working distance of 200 mm. The measuring chamber is closed during the measurement by a sliding door, which is secured against accidental opening. The measuring chamber has an adjustable base plate with a PU foam support that can be positioned at different heights to accommodate leaves, plant trays or larger plant pots. The optionally available Plant Pot Holder IMAG-HEX/PH enables the uniform positioning of small plant pots (round, diameter 6 cm) in the measuring field.
Images are generated with the GigE-Camera IMAG-K8, with a resolution of 1000 x 1200 px as standard and is operated in 2x2 binning mode. The power supply is provided by an external laboratory Power Supply IMAG-HEX/N (included). The size of the instrument is 515 x 485 x 470 mm (W × H × D, without computer, power supply and screen).supply and screen).
This system requires a computer (e.g. IMAG-HEX/PC), that meets the following minimum requirements:
- Intel NUC Mini-PC with Windows 10 operating system
- Intel® Core™ i5-1135G7, with 4 cores and 8 threads
- Intel Iris Xe graphics, vPRO
- 8 GB RAM
- minimum 512 GB SSD
- internal Thunderbolt 4 card
- A native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD) is recommended for the monitor.
For this Mini-PC, a mounting bracket is included with which the computer can be attached to various locations on the HEXAGON-IMAGING-PAM's case frame. A suitable network cable is included with the system.
