Datalogger/Node Platform – DNP
Datalogger first with integrated IoT communication options. Robust data collection and storage with user-friendly installation and configuration.
A dedicated Datalogger that can connect many sensors in an installation for simultaneous readings of sensors from ICT International to measure the soil plant and atmosphere continuum (SPAC) parameters that influence plant water use prior to forwarding via IoT protocols data to a database.
Configurable as a standalone datalogger or as a full IoT device (using LoRaWAN, Cellular, or Satellite communication), the datalogger is compatible with SDI-12, RS-485, Voltage, and digital counter sensor inputs. Optional expansion modules allow for sensors to be installed away from the main node, handled via a purpose built CANBUS solution, providing single cable expandability up to 1,000 metres between expansion modules.
It has been designed to provide a reliable and robust data collection, storage, and forwarding platform for all SPAC measurements. With options to integrate with IoT communication, the ICT International Node reflects all of ICT International’s experience in data collection, data logging, data storage, and data forwarding.
Providing simplified connections, data redundancy (multiple storage points for data), and true plug and play expandability, the ICT International node has Multiple inputs that allow for:
- Easy to use SDI-12 and RS485 connections with:
- 8x SDI-12 inputs
- 4x RS485 inputs
- 3x Voltage inputs, capable of 4-20mA and differential measurement
- 1x digital counter (compatible with double reed switch rain gauges)
- CANBUS input that allows for single cable expansion using additional measurement modules
The enclosure has been designed to be as easy to use as possible and for simple installation and includes simple pole mount bracket that allows for easy installation. By using pre-wired connectors, all sensors become plug and play.
With power provided to the internal battery in the node by solar panel with either 10, 20 or 40W solar panel options, as well as benchtop power options for laboratory installations (retaining the internal battery, creating a mini-UPS equipped logger), the node is easy to install without any specialised skills. With an option to connect an extra solar panel, as well as three sizes of internal rechargeable batteries, the power system is designed to be robust, reliable and adaptable.
Whilst designed as a datalogging platform first, the communication options allow for installation in many remote locations.
- LoRaWAN: All common bands
