Advancing soil, plant and environmental decision making
ICT International designed their IoT solutions to be able to integrate with:
once data has been collected over LoRaWAN, CAT-M1 or NB-IoT.
Data can be accessed through either MQTT or APIs, depending on the stage that the data is being accessed. All processed data is available in human readable form, suitable for use in statistical packages such as R or Python. Raw data is transmitted as hexadecimal values, and full decoders are supplied for the integration of ICT International devices to customer dashboards or databases.
Full stack solutions are fully integrated, single source, and cover from the sensor to the dashboard/data display.
With ICT International, these would typically be sensor, node, gateway (if LoRaWAN), database, and dashboard purchased simultaneously. ICT International will then ship these, ready to be installed in your location, preconfigured to your requirements.
When deploying a new sensing network, this is the preferred approach.
Common partial stack solutions are where data is diverted to an existing customer managed database or endpoint, via either:
These require consultation with ICT International to ensure the correct configuration details are supplied.
These solutions can be integrated with existing management solutions, such as irrigation controllers, that have an API option for integration of additional sensor inputs.
The alternative is where a new database and dashboard are integrated with existing sensing networks, such as a migrating an existing LoRaWAN sensor network to a new gateway and then onto a new database and dashboard. Please contact ICT International to discuss this option.
The Self-managed stack requires the most technical knowledge as the customer manages the network connection (such as private LoRaWAN network).
ICT International will supply the decoders needed for the conversion of hexadecimal payloads for common LoRaWAN servers (e.g. Actility, TTN, ChirpStack). Similar options are available for cellular connections, please contact ICT International to discuss these options.
