Fully compatible with the ICT International MFR-Node, the THERM-BG is ideally suited for use in the calculation of heat stress in key environments such as urban (people) and agriculture (livestock and employees).

It comprises a thermistor centrally positioned inside a 6″ (15cm) hollow copper sphere painted matt black. Black Globe Temperature, in conjunction with humidity and ambient air temperature measurements, is used in the calculation of wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT), a measure of heat stress.

The THERM-BG is compatible with ICT International IoT nodes, such as the MFR-Node. This provides the ability to display near real-time measurements of heat stress factors.
