Overview
The CTZN Inductive Conductivity/Salinity sensor measures conductivity, salinity and temperature in water. Using induction conductivity, the sensor is designed for low maintenance and long term installation.
Available in either PVC or stainless steel versions.
The sensor is internally calibrated, the sensor stores calibration data internally for quick deployment when sensors are exchanged.
Applications include measurement of urban wastewater and industrial effluent treatment, surface and sea water monitoring.
The sensor can output RS485 or SDI-12 signals from the same sensor.

INDUCTIVE METHOD
A ring-type coil is excited at fixed intervals and the response is measured by a second coil, which is linked to the excited coil. The connectivity between the coils (determined by the degree of conductivity) takes place via the conducting solution.
The CTZN uses low-cost technology that requires little maintenance and no consumables.
