For the measurement of absolute temperature of the leaf at the surface.
The Leaf Temperature Sensor is a very small thermistor that can be adhered to a leaf surface. The absolute temperature of the leaf at the surface is measured.
The adherence and small size enable accurate measurement. The adherence means that the boundary layer is not disrupted.
The THERM-MICRO’s small size means that it has almost no thermal mass, resulting in minimal influence on the temperature environment and measurements which are very responsive to leaf temperature changes.
THERM-MICRO Temperature Sensor Features
Power management:
Utilising the SQ-110 Sensor in a custom IoT (Internet of Things) package
The SNiP-LFT is a ‘Sensor Node Integrated Package’ for LoRaWAN communication of real-time absolute measurements of Leaf Temperature, for continuous plant, light and environmental monitoring.
The base SNiP-LFT integrates an AD-NODE and 1 THERM-MICRO Sensor to a site’s unique network, communication and power requirements.
