The SNiP-WS24 is 'Sensor Node Integrated Package' for LoRaWAN or CAT-M1 communication of real-time weather parameters within a microclimate atmospheric zone for continuous environmental monitoring of a particular site.
The base SNiP-WS24 integrates 1x MFR-NODE with three sensors to a site’s unique network, communication and power requirements: 1x AWS200 Automatic Weather Station, 1x ATH-2S Ambient Temperature & Humidity (SDI-12) Sensor and 1x PRP-02 Professional Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge.
The AWS200 is a wind monitoring station, providing a measurement on wind direction and wind speed, with high precision, fast response time and configurable sampling periods.
The ATH-2S provides a measurement on Ambient Temperature & Humidity, and with a far higher accuracy drift of better than ±2% Relative Humidity. Another substantial development of the ATH-2 Series design is the removable sensor chip, which can be quickly swapped out in the field for a price far lower than the typical calibration or complete replacement. The ATH-2 Series instrument does not need to be fully removed from the site, freighted and then reinstalled for simple calibration maintenance. This advancement significantly reduces the time, hassle and costs associated with avoiding data gaps and maintaining long-term data integrity.
The PRP-02 is a highly accurate (+/- 2%) professional rain gauge which measures precipitation and rainfall at a resolution of .2mm.

Further or alternative parameters can be added to the SNiP, without requiring loggers to match each distinct sensor, substantially reducing the cost of getting a fuller picture on the application. The MFR-Node can support 1x additional sensor to the base package.
The Multifunction Research Node has been designed to provide flexible communication, sensor and power options.
The MFR-NODE supports SDI-12 and 4 x dry contact digital inputs as well as optionally 2x differential / 4x single ended analogue inputs. The MFR-NODE supports sensors with higher power requirements; a solar panel can charge either the internal lithium-ion battery or both the node and sensor can be powered by an external 12V system (e.g. battery or mains source). Optional CAT-M1 provide an option for remote installation and in areas outside the range existing LoRaWAN networks. The optional multiconstellation GNSS ensures you won’t lose track of your device. The MFR-NODE has an onboard 8GB SD Card to provide data logging capabilities and full data redundancy in the event of temporary loss of communications or dropped packets – ideal for research applications.
