The SNiP-AT is a 'Sensor Node Integrated Package' for LoRaWAN communication of real-time ambient temperatures in soil, air or liquid for continuous environmental monitoring.
The base SNiP-AT integrates 1x AD-NODE and 1x THERM-EP Epoxy Thermistor Sensor to a site’s unique network, communication and power requirements.
The THERM-EP Epoxy Thermistor Sensor is an epoxy embedded thermistor, ideal for high quality low cost temperature measurement in soil, air or liquid.

See Further Specifications on the SE-100 Photometric Sensor
For complete monitoring solutions, the THERM-EP is used in combination with the MP406 soil volumetric moisture content sensor, tensiometers for soil water potential, ICTO2 soil oxygen sensor, or the ICT International automatic weather station.
Applications:
The AD-NODE is designed for those requiring precision in their analogue and digital measurements. With a 24-bit ADC, the AD-NODE supports two RTDs, a 0–10V with compressing range and a 4–20mA input. Each of the four dry-contact digital inputs is capable of simultaneously sampling at 1 kHz, with periodic reporting. Settings on the device can be altered remotely via LoRaWAN™ or locally via USB.
The epoxy temperature sensors (THERM-EP) are high quality, low cost sensors for measurement of soil, air or liquid temperature. The sensor consists of a thermistor embedded in a protective epoxy body. THERM-EP sensors can be used in a wide range of applications from concrete monitoring, explosive testing, as well as soil monitoring and climate control. THERM-EP has a measurement range between -40°C and +80°C. Standard cable lengths are 5m, 30m and 50m however custom length cables are available.
