AIM2 Automatic Infiltration Meter

The AIM2 Automatic Infiltration Datalogger is a stand-alone logging instrument for the measurement of infiltration rates with 4x Decagon Mini Disk Portable Tension Infiltrometers.

The AIM2 Automatic Infiltration Package is a convenient solution for infiltration measurements that saves researchers time. The AIM2 relieves researchers of the need to manually monitor their Infiltrometer towers with a stop-watch and notepad.

The 4x Decagon Mini Disk Portable Tension Infiltrometers are individually calibrated in house to the each differential pressure transducers to ensure accurate measurements.

The AIM2 Package automatically collects infiltration data from 4x Decagon Mini Disk Portable Tension Infiltrometer towers. Converted and unconverted data is stored within the AIM2 Datalogger and can be downloaded as a csv file for further data manipulation and analysis. The AIM2 Datalogger can support up to 4x Tension Infiltrometers.

The AIM2 Datalogger is a fully self-contained unit with a 4GB capacity Micro SD Card as standard for data logging and an internal battery that will last several days’ field work.

The AIM2 Package Comes with a complete external battery backup power management system composed of a 12 volt 7.2A/hr SLA Battery and a 4 Stage SLA Mains battery charger.

The AIM2 Package comes installed in a Pelican 1700 Case that is Watertight, crushproof, and dustproof (Case Dimensions: 96.8 x 40.6 x 15.5 cm).

The AIM2 Datalogger is IP-65 rated and has a Windows and Mac compatible Graphical User Interface.
