IoT AWS5 Automatic Weather Station

The SNiP-AWS5 is an IoT connected Automatic Weather Station for LoRaWAN or CAT-M1/NB-IoT communication of real-time ambient temperature, humidity sensor, atmospheric pressure, wind direction and wind speed for continuous monitoring.

The base SNiP-AWS5 package integrates 1x MFR-NODE and 1x AWS500 to a site’s unique network, communication and power requirements.

The AWS500 measures air temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, wind direction and wind speed, with high precision, fast response time and configurable wind speed and direction sampling periods.

This SNiP also includes:

• a sensor mounting bracket.
• 1x 6.5 Ah rechargeable li-ion battery.
• 1x 10 W Solar Panel; and
• 1x SPLM7 mounting system for node and solar panel.

Available in LoRaWAN and CAT-M1 NB-IoT version:

• SNiP-AWS5L-ML: Automatic Weather Station (LoRaWAN).
• SNiP-AWS5L-MC: Automatic Weather Station (CAT-M1).

The modular nature of ICT International SNiPs allows for SNiP-AWS5 to be extended with added sensors to measure rainfall and solar radiation. These or other further parameters can be added to the SNiP, without requiring loggers to match each distinct sensor, substantially reducing the cost of getting a fuller picture on the application.
