CI-340 Handheld Photosynthesis System

Portable, precision gas exchange analyser
A portable, precision gas exchange analyser, the CI-340 is a modular system that can be customised to your application through the inclusion of a range of accessory units. The CI-340 enables real-time photosynthesis measurement of photosynthesis, respiration, transpiration, stomatal conductance, PAR & internal CO2, with the data stored within the hand-held and portable unit that can be connected via USB to a computer for data analysis.
The CID CI-340 includes:

Accessories

Accessories for measuring different leaves and soil CO2 flux are available, as are control modules to regulate the sampling environment.

Control Modules

The control module accessories available for the CI-340 allow the expansion of the CI-340 Photosynthesis System to enable users to modify light intensity, adjust temperature, manipulate CO2 and H2O concentrations, and measure chlorophyll fluorescence. All modules and chambers for the CI-340 require the CI-340BP external battery.
  • CI-340BP Battery Pack: The Battery Pack includes one rechargeable battery, universal battery charger, cable connections for up to 4 modules, and instrument bag.
  • CI-301SR Soil CO2 Respiration Chamber: The CI-301SR Soil Respiration Chamber enables the measurement of CO2 flux from the soil when used with the CI-340.
  • CI-301LA Light Module: The CI-301LA Light Module is used to provide precise control over the leaf-level light conditions when using the CI-340
  • CI-301AD Adjustable H2O and CO2 Control Module: allows the setting and regulation of the H2O and CO2 levels in the CI-340 chamber
  • CI-510CS Temperature Control Module: Temperature control module. Includes temperature control attachment and control unit.
  • CI-510CF Chlorophyll Fluorescence Module: The CI-510F Chlorophyll Fluorescence Module includes control unit and sensor probe for the simultaneous measurement of fluorescence and photosynthesis
  • CI-301CC Canopy Chamber Attachment: Canopy Chamber Attachment for the CI-340

Leaf Chambers

The leaf chambers maximise the amount of leaf area enclosed in the sample chamber, giving the most accurate representation of whole leaf photosynthetic rate. The CI-340 Leaf Chambers do not require the CI-340BP external battery.
