AWQ-C4E Digital Conductivity/Salinity Sensor
The C4E sensor for measuring conductivity, salinity and temperature in water uses 4 electrodes for accurate measurements.
Designed as a plug and play system, the C4E sensor retains the calibration data within the sensor enabling easy exchange of the sensor for maintenance purposes.
With applications including wastewater, effluent and surface water monitoring, as well as use in sea water and drinking water, the Aqualabo C4E is a versatile sensor.
The sensor provides RS485 output and SDI-12 output options within the same sensor.

The AWQ-C4E sensor uses 4 electrode technology: an alternating current of constant voltage is established between the primary pair of graphite electrodes. The secondary platinum electrodes allow for voltage regulation of the primary electrodes to reflect fouling.
The voltage measured between the primary electrodes is a function of the resistance of the material, and thus, the conductivity.
