Apogee Soil Oxygen Sensors

Oxygen Sensors for the measurement of soil oxygen
The Apogee oxygen sensors measure gaseous oxygen between 0 and 30%. The oxygen sensor is available as a portable version with handheld meter or as a sensor with analogue or SDI-12 output. It is designed for measuring oxygen levels in soils, compost piles and other environments for climate monitoring purposes. it also helps for determining respiration rates from measuring O2 usage from soils and any porous media. The Apogee Oxygen sensor is available as:
  • Portable Oxygen sensor with handheld meter and 2 m cable.
  • Thermistor reference oxygen sensor with SDI-12 or analogue output

Sensor options

Portable

  • MO-200: Oxygen sensor with handheld meter, 2 m cable.

Analogue

  • SO-130: Soil or atmospheric applications sensor, analogue output, 5m cable

SDI-12

  • SO-431: Soil or atmospheric applications sensor, SDI-12 output, 5m cable

Accessories

The Apogee Oxygen sensors has a range of accessories to customise the sensor for specific applications.

Apogee offer two head options:

  • AO-001: Diffusion Head: The diffusion head creates a small air pocket for measurement in porous media
  • AO-002: Flow through Head: The flow-through head with two adapters for tubing that allows measurement of gas flowing in lines.

The AO-003: Panel mount nut with O-Ring enables the fitting of an Apogee oxygen sensor to a flat surface, such as a container, to measure the oxygen content.
