Apogee Pyrgeometers
Measuring longwave radiation, the Apogee pyrgeometers are calibrated with traceability to the World Infrared Standard Group in Davos.
Designed for long-term installation, the Apogee pyrgeometers contain features to ensure ease of maintenance and reliable measurements. With a domed sensor head (on the upward-facing version) to promote water runoff, and a heater element to minimize errors from frost, dew, rain or snow, the sensors are designed to be used in agricultural, ecological and hydrological weather networks.
