ICT International holds many workshops throughout the world. Typically, these workshops focus on sap flow and plant water potential, with the practical use of the SFM1 Sap Flow Meter, HFD Heat Field Deformation Meter, Dynagages, and PSY1 Stem Psychrometer.
In December, 2013, ICT International and UGT held a joint workshop on sap flow and lysimeters. The workshop was held at University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, and over 40 scientists attended.
Following on from this workshop, there was a high demand for more detailed training on sap flow, and in particular the Heat Ratio Method. In January 2014, a Sap Flow Training Workshop was held at ICT International headquarters, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia. There were limited seats at this workshop, and 10 scientists from all over Australia, including Darwin, Cairns, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Toowoomba, and even Armidale, attended. The workshop was well received by all who attended and they definitely recommended others to attend future workshops.
A list of workshop presentations, given at these and previous workshops, can be found on the ICT International website:
